Emmanuèle Sandron is a French-speaking author and translator. Her latest book as an author is a collection of short stories ("Je ne te mangerai pas tout de suite", "I will not eat you straight away", éd. Luce Wilquin). She translated about 50 books from Dutch and English into French for French and Belgian publishers.
She spent a one-month writing residence at the International house of writers and translators in Ventspils and fell in love with Latvia. She then started to study Latvian with the aim to be able to translate Latvian literature into French one day. She intends to go back to Ventspils very soon. She's mainly interested in contemporary fiction and youth books. She has also a deep interest in psycho-analysis. She lives in Brussels.
