Artūrs Punte (1977) is a poet, editor and multimedia artist. Artūrs Punte has edited numerous poetry collections, together with Alexander Zapol he has been an editor of the anthology Современная русская поэзия Латвии. 1985 – 2005/Contemporary Russian Poetry in Latvia: 1985 – 2005. He is one of the founders of multimedia poetry project Orbita – a creative group of Russian poets and artists, whose works create dialogue among various genres (literature, music, video, photography, VJ, web, etc.) and cultures. Orbita has organized poetry-video and multi-media art festivals "Word in Motion" (Latvia, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2009, and 2011). Orbita also strives to seek new ways of print publishing and book design. Artūrs Punte's poems have been translated into English, German and other languages. Artūrs Punte lives in Riga and writes in Russian and Latvian.
