Miks Viesturs Grīns (b.1990) lives in Sweden and has a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Science from Tallin University in Estonia. He started translating quite recently. In 2014 his translation of a chapter from Jānis Joņevs book "Jelgava 94" was published in the Estonian literary magazine “Värske Rõhk” alongside an interview with the author. His translation was nominated for the Tallin University literary prize for best translation in a literary magazine. His translation of the well-acclaimed book "Jelgava 94" by Latvian author, EU Prize for Literature laureate Jānis Joņevs just came out in Estonia.
