Klāvs Elsbergs (1959-1987) was a Latvian poet and translator; a son of Vizma Belševica and a brother of Jānis Elsbergs (Ramba). Elsbergs also worked as an editor in Liesma Publishing and Avots magazine. Klāvs Elsbergs Prize for best debut in Latvian literature was established in 1987.
