Rihards Bargais (1969) is a Latvian poet. He studied pedagogy and theology and has worked as a layout designer for the publishing house Atēna and as a presenter of 100g of Culture. His poems were published in Karogs, Liesma, Latvijas Jaunatne, Literatūra un Māksa, Nakts and other magazines. Bargais is known for his provocative literary style with elements of harsh irony.
