Dzintars Tilaks is a writer, radio journalist, moderator, editor, producer and DJ. At the moment he is working as the producer of the Radio Theatre. He is the author of 20 books for children and adults and has also illustrated a few of his books. Dzintars Tilak’s works have been nominated several times for “Baltvilka balva”, the most prestigious Latvian award in children’s literature. Several of his works have won the main prize in the annual “Jury of children, youth and parents” organized by the National Library of Latvia and some of his books are even included as recommended reading for national schools.
